Travel information

By plane (landing in Brindisi –SUGGESTED OPTION)

Brindisi airport is the nearest airport to Lecce, 30 minutes by car, connected by buses and shuttles. This airport is well connected to the international airports

of Rome and Milan, and there are direct flights to and from London, Brussels, Zurich, Paris and other European destinations.

From Brindisi Airport to Lecce:

- Option #1: Take the Air Shuttle, which provides a shuttle service from Lecce to Brindisi Airport (and back) operating 7 days a week (one-way ticket cost:

approx. 20 Euros). This shuttles picks you from the airport and takes you directly to the desired address in the City of Lecce.

- Option #2: Bus from Brindisi Airport to Lecce (and back)

By plane (landing in Bari)

Bari Airport (Karol Wojtyla International Airport) is approximately 160 km far for Lecce. It is the major airport of Apulia Region, and is well connected to the

major National and International destinations.

From Bari Airport to Lecce:

- First, take a shuttle from the airport to Bari’s central train station (one-way ticket cost: approx. 5 Euros): time schedule available at

- Then, take the train to Lecce (select route: Bari Centrale – Lecce)

To reach Lecce by car from Rome, take the A1 highway (direction Naples), and then follow A 16 or A 14 (direction Bari).
