The 2021 MetroArchaeo Conference will be held as an IN PERSON event on October 20-22, 2021.

The situation is continuously evolving, and Italian rules for travels within EU and for entries from non-EU countries in general follow EU rules- the same for vaccines. We suggest you to keep informed on the Italian official website (unfortunately, mostly in Italian) and in particular to check your situation with the questionnaire.

You can stay updated with Covid rules for travelling to and from Italy through the official website. Up to now, the whole of Italy is "white", i.e. at the lowest level of restrictions.

COVID-19 Green Pass

According to the new Italian decree-law of 23 July 2021, n. 105 “Urgent measures to face the epidemiological emergency from COVID-19 and for the safe exercise of social and economic activities”, which provides that some activities are allowed only to those with a COVID-19 green certification, we inform you that to participate in the MetroArchaeo 2021 you must be in possession of a COVID-19 Green Pass.

Please note that the Gala Dinner Ticket is not included and it can be purchased through the Registration Form.

Please read carefully the following information concerning the registration procedure, especially if you are the prospective presenter of an accepted paper or if you need to guarantee inclusion of your accepted paper in the proceedings. An accepted paper will be published in the proceedings only if the full-fee registration payment (IEEE Member / SCI Member or Non-Member)for one of the authors is received and correctly processed by October 3, 2021. In addition, the author must attend the conference and present the paper. Papers that are not presented will not be published.

Only IEEE Member / SCI Member or Non-Member Registration fees are allowed to cover the publication of an accepted paper. Student registration fees do NOT guarantee the publication of an accepted paper. If the author registering to cover the paper publication is a student, he/she has to pay the appropriate Member or Non-Member Registration fee.

One author registration will cover the publication expenses of only ONE accepted paper. For an additional accepted paper associated whit the same registration, a € 50 printing contribution will be charged (maximum ONE extra-paper). In the case that no registration has been received and correctly processed to cover the paper publication, the workshop organizers will contact the authors before the paper is removed from the proceedings.

Conference registration will not be refunded if it is required to cover the publication expenses of an accepted paper.
The deadline for refunds is October 10, 2021.
