At the end of the conference sessions, a guided sightseeing tour of Bari's historic centre, conducted in English, will be organized. The tour will conclude at the Superintendence, the venue of the Welcome Party.

The MetroArchaeo 2026 Welcome Party will be held at the Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the Metropolitan City of Bari, located at Via Pier l'Eremita, 25/B - 70122 Bari (BA).

The evening will be accompanied by a live performance by the Wind Quintet “OMNISONUS”.

Conceived and led by its artistic director, Maestro Francesco Scoditti, OMNISONUS is an instrumental ensemble with a flexible, modular structure that allows it to perform in different formations, ranging from a trio to a chamber orchestra. The ensemble is primarily dedicated to the research and performance of folk music, as well as a wide repertoire of transcriptions spanning classical and contemporary music, with a particular focus on film scores. Its performances bring together wind ensemble music, folk traditions, cinema music, and great Italian music. In July 2003, the ensemble performed a series of concerts on the island of Corfu alongside the renowned mezzo-soprano Roza Poulimenou.

The MetroArchaeo 2026 Gala Dinner on Thursday, October 15 - 20:00 will be held at “Sala Zonno”.
